As a Clinical Nurse III, you will play a vital role in guiding and coordinating care for patients in the Medical Surgical, ensuring the highest standards of treatment in accordance with our Nursing Department's policies and procedures. From comprehensive patient assessments and personalized care planning to implementing treatment plans and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes.

Your ability to effectively communicate, document, and integrate cultural, psychosocial, and spiritual needs into care plans will be key to delivering exceptional care.
As a successful candidate, you will: - Utilizes the nursing process and practice standards as a framework for the management of patient care.
- Can assess patient conditions, recognize early signs of complications, and respond effectively.
- Delegates to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the clinical information system and applies principles to patient documentation.
- Prioritizes holistic care, addressing both the physical and emotional needs of the patients.
- Serves as a mentor and role model to new staff members.
- Delegates to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
- Integrates and practices according to the City of Hope Professional Practice Model to deliver care service excellence.
- In alignment with City of Hope mission and values, the Division of Nursing and Patient Care Services vision and mission, and with continuous focus on the patient, family and community, carries out the nursing process, coordinates interdisciplinary care planning, documents according to standards, including validation of the patient and caregiver's understanding of the plan of care and expected outcomes.

Your qualifications should include: - Bachelor's degree or master's degree in nursing
- 3 - 5 years related experience
- Current CA Registered Nurse License
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association
