Job Requirements

The University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center is hiring a Full-Time Night Shift Registered Nurse to join our skilled and compassionate 3 South Telemetry team.

This role is ideal for an RN who thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. As a Telemetry RN, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical support. Working alongside an interdisciplinary care team, you will assess, plan, coordinate, and deliver safe, evidence-based care while supporting patients and families through education and clinical guidance.

Full-Time Night Shift: 3 x 12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. | Every Other Weekend & Rotating Holidays

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to his or her population-specific and age specific needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Full-Time Night Shift: 3 x 12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. | Every Other Weekend & Rotating Holidays.

LICENSURE & EXPERIENCE:
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland or Compact eligibility in accordance with MBON, required.
  • Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent acute care Registered Nurse experience within a Med/Surg and/or Telemetry unit, required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, including recognition of critical arrhythmias and appropriate clinical intervention, required.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

COMPENSATION:
  • Pay Range: $42.35 - $57.40 per hour.
