Exciting Opportunity at MSK:

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Clinical Nurse II to join our Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery team. In this ambulatory nursing role, you will partner closely with plastic and reconstructive surgeons and a multidisciplinary care team to provide exceptional care to oncology patients throughout their surgical journey. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting patients through consultation, treatment, surgery, recovery, and long-term follow-up within one of the nation's leading cancer centers.

Role Overview
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients receiving plastic and reconstructive surgical services.
  • Perform patient assessments, symptom management, and clinical triage.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding surgical procedures, treatment plans, recovery expectations, and ongoing care needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
  • Assist in preparing patients for surgical procedures and support post-operative follow-up.
  • Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to address patient concerns and ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to an exceptional patient experience.


Key Qualifications
  • New York State RN license/ registration and BSN
  • A minimum of 1. 5 - 2 years of related clinical experience required; oncology experience highly preferred
  • Plastic/Reconstructive experience strongly preferred
  • Ambulatory care experience preferred

Additional Information
  • Schedule: 4 x 10 hours flexed between 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday
  • Location: 530 East, 74th Street (Koch Center)
  • Reports To: Nurse Leader

Pay Range: $113,100.00 - $180,900.00
