The Clinical Manager, RN (PN) provides front-line supervision for licensed and unlicensed personnel while coordinating the daily clinical operations of Cook Children's Pediatric Specialty clinics or Urgent Care Centers. Operating in a collaborative practice with physicians and nurse practitioners, this role ensures the delivery of comprehensive ambulatory nursing care, including patient assessment, intervention, and health education. The Manager maintains a significant clinical presence by spending 75% of their designated shift on the floor, ensuring all duties are performed in strict accordance with established policies and procedures. Reporting through a dual clinical and administrative structure, this leader serves as a vital link between the medical providers and executive operations, facilitating seamless communication and clinical compliance across the pediatric specialty and urgent care network.
