executive management team as Clinical Manager. This is an opportunity for a clinician who is ready to step beyond their individual caseload and have a meaningful influence on
clinical quality, team development, program growth, and the future direction of a growing pediatric therapy practice.As Clinical Manager, you'll lead across
OT, PT, and SLP, mentor clinicians, develop future leaders, strengthen clinical systems, and work directly with executive leadership to turn ideas into action. You'll also maintain a small clinical caseload, keeping you connected to the children and families we serve and grounded in the day-to-day realities of pediatric therapy.
Lead People. Develop Clinicians: - Great clinical teams don't happen by accident.
- You'll provide mentorship, coaching, and clinical support to therapists across disciplines while helping identify and develop future lead therapists and clinical leaders.
- You'll have the opportunity to shape how clinicians grow - from onboarding and mentorship to continuing education, feedback, and leadership development.
Drive Clinical Excellence: - You'll help ensure that PPTS continues to provide high-quality, evidence-based, family-centered care.
- You'll lead clinical quality improvement initiatives, support compliance and best practices, evaluate clinical processes, and identify opportunities to strengthen outcomes across the practice.
Build What's Next: - PPTS is growing, and we don't want to simply become a larger version of what we already are.
- You'll partner with executive leadership to develop new programs, improve existing services, respond to community needs, and help shape the future of pediatric therapy at PPTS.
- This may include opportunities across OT, PT, SLP, feeding, social skills, Early Intervention, community partnerships, and other emerging areas of pediatric care.
Stay Connected to Clinical Practice: - This isn't a desk-only management position.
- You'll maintain a small clinical caseload so you can continue practicing, stay connected to families, and remain grounded in the clinical realities of the team you're leading.
About the Position: As Clinical Manager, you will serve as the primary clinical leader across PPTS's multidisciplinary therapy team and a key member of the executive management team.
You will:- Provide clinical leadership across OT, PT, and SLP.
- Mentor, coach, and support therapists at all stages of their careers.
- Develop and support lead therapists and future clinical leaders.
- Partner with discipline leads and executive leadership to address clinical and operational priorities.
- Monitor clinical quality, documentation, compliance, and adherence to best practices.
- Develop and implement clinical training and professional development initiatives.
- Lead quality improvement and clinical program development projects.
- Support onboarding and mentorship for new clinicians.
- Maintain a small clinical caseload.
- Help identify opportunities for new services, specialty programs, and community initiatives.
- Collaborate with families, physicians, educators, and community partners when appropriate.
- Help foster a culture of communication, accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Participate in strategic planning and practice-wide initiatives as a member of the executive management team.
What We're Looking For: We're looking for an experienced pediatric clinician who is ready to lead with both
clinical expertise and emotional intelligence.You bring:- Master's or doctoral degree in OT, PT, or Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Virginia licensure or eligibility for Virginia licensure.
- At least 5 years of pediatric therapy experience.
- Previous leadership, mentorship, supervisory, or program development experience.
- Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to provide both support and accountability.
- A collaborative leadership style and willingness to work across disciplines.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine interest in developing people and building strong teams.
- A growth-minded approach and the ability to turn ideas into action.
