Job Summary:

Establishes and applies practical implementation science approaches to support the successful adoption, scaling, and sustainment of enterprise clinical transformation initiatives. Translates evidence‑based clinical practices, standards, and innovations into real‑world implementation models that work in frontline care environments. Partners with clinical, operational, and transformation leaders to ensure initiatives are designed and implemented with disciplined attention to adoption, framework, methodologies, workflow integration, change management, and sustainability. Provides technical leadership, consultation, and hands‑on support across complex transformation and pilot efforts.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Applies practical implementation science principles to support the design and delivery of enterprise clinical transformation initiatives, ensuring initiatives are feasible, adoptable, and sustainable in real‑world care delivery settings.
  • Partners with leadership to translate evidence‑based practices, clinical standards, and transformation priorities into rigorous implementation plans.
  • Supports initiative design by identifying adoption risks, workflow implications, and change readiness considerations early in the transformation lifecycle.
  • Works with clinical and operational leaders to support implementation of new or redesigned clinical workflows, ensuring integration into daily practice.
  • Identifies barriers to adoption and variation in implementation and partners with initiative teams to develop practical mitigation strategies.
  • Supports frontline adoption through guidance on sequencing, training approaches, reinforcement strategies, and sustainment planning. Partners with clinical, operational, quality, informatics, and education teams to align implementation approaches across functions.
  • Supports definition and use of implementation‑focused measures (e.g., adoption, reliability, consistency, sustainment) in partnership with analytics and quality teams. Helps distinguish between clinical effectiveness issues and implementation issues to enable focused improvement.
  • Uses implementation insights to inform iterative optimization of clinical transformation initiatives.
  • Coaches leaders and teams on practical approaches to managing change, resistance, and variation without formal supervisory responsibility.
  • May provide input for hiring, training, leading, and evaluating staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree

EXPERIENCE

  • Five years' experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.

  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.

  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

  • Rare climbing.
