Clinical Educator
Job Type: FTE | Day
Wage scale: $34.99 – $49.70 per hour
Position Summary
The Clinical Educator is responsible for developing, planning, implementing and organizing a variety of education activities including individual, department and hospital wide programs.
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and ongoing education for staff.
- Develop, deliver, and evaluate training programs to support employee development and organizational goals.
- Partner with leadership to identify learning needs and implement education, quality, and patient safety initiatives.
- Monitor, analyze, and share performance data to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Lead education-related projects, committees, and team development activities.
- Provide education, coaching, and subject matter expertise to staff and leaders.
- Maintain current clinical knowledge and support changes in nursing practice and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize learning management and data systems to support education programs and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, confidentiality standards, and applicable federal, state, accreditation, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a minimum education of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. Preferred Master's Degree.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse Basic Life Support-Health Care Provider Basic Life Support-Health Care Provider Instructor within 3 years of accepting or transferring into the position.
- BLS
- Minimum Work Experience 3-5 years of recent clinical experience with ongoing ability to demonstrate mastery of relevant clinical skills.
- Sufficient previous experience in adult education
