Description:Position Purpose: The Nurse Senior - Educator works in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Health within the Labor & Delivery Department to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. This position is a great opportunity to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person physically, emotionally and spiritually.

What You Will Do: - Employment Type/Shift: FT Days
- Using Quality Caring Model, demonstrates acceptable performance, and applies nursing process, to plan and manage care of routine patients, including patient and family education, and continuum of care planning.
- Leads, delegates and serves as a mentor to others on the team.
- Provides formal and informal education for nurses and other health professionals/students.
Minimum Qualifications: - Graduate from an accredited nursing program ADN; basic professional nursing degree MSN preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State.
- Certifications aligned with area of responsibility preferred.
