Position Summary: The Clinical Conversion Specialist (CCS) a clinical expert supporting the safe and effective use of medical devices. The primary responsibility of this role is to be a clinical project manage working with both the internal team and external healthcare providers. This role bridges clinical practice and commercial operations by providing education, training, and clinical support to healthcare professionals, while also supporting sales, product development, and regulatory activities.The consultant serves as a subject matter expert in infusion therapy, supporting care teams through clinical guidance, education, and protocol development. They collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based practices, improve patient experiences, and ensure safe medication administration across infusion settings.

This candidate should ideally reside in the Midwest/Rocky Mountain Region or Texas

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

Clinical Support & Education
  • Provide clinical expertise on the proper use, implementation, and troubleshooting of medical devices related to infusion therapy.
  • Coordinate and deliver product training and in-service education to physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff.
  • Support clinical conversion's, including on-site or virtual assistance when applicable.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for clinical best practices and patient safety.
  • Strong knowledge of IV therapy standards, vascular access devices, and infusion safety protocols
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
  • Experience in quality improvement and regulatory compliance


Customer Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare providers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and clinical stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers on clinical workflows and device integration.
  • Gather and communicate customer feedback to internal teams for product improvement.


Sales & Commercial Support
  • Partner with sales teams to support product conversions and share clinical expertise
  • Support product adoption and utilization strategies in healthcare facilities.


Product & Clinical Development
  • Collaborate with R&D and product teams to provide clinical input on product design and enhancements.
  • Participate in clinical trials, evaluations, and evidence-generation activities.
  • Contribute to clinical documentation, protocols, and training materials.


Regulatory & Compliance
  • Ensure all clinical activities adhere to regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Support compliance with FDA, ISO, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Report adverse events or product complaints according to company and regulatory guidelines.


Training & Internal Support
  • Train internal teams (sales, marketing, customer support) on clinical applications and device usage.
  • Assist in development of educational materials, presentations, and clinical resources.


Required Skills:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; with a Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years related experience required.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills, including knowledge of IV therapy standards, vascular access devices, and infusion safety protocols
