Clinical Consultant- Nursing

Job Summary

The Clinical Consultant- Nursing partners internally and externally to scope and drive deals in a Consultant manner which allows for expediency without sacrificing customer satisfaction. The position serves as an expert in the areas of healthcare/workflows and/or lean processes, product educator, and strategic partner for Omnicell customers. The Consultant provides consultation to facilities considering or using Omnicell automation and software, throughout the customer journey, to ensure both customer success and the expansion of our portfolio within our customer base. This position leads discussions and presentations with key stakeholders to address clinical issues and/or concerns, provide workflow assessments, build business case strategies, and offers coaching for clients as they seek to garner internal support for their strategic plans

Responsibilities
  • Engages in Solution Design pre-sale and work in tandem, post-sale, with Omnicell teams to enhance the customer lifecycle.
  • Serves as a Healthcare and Nursing expert and articulates the company's suite of services to customers.
  • Provides clinical and workflow expertise, to include Omnicell solutions and industry best practices.
  • Builds the business case strategy and best overall technology solution for the customer. To include customer medication management efficiencies to align with KPI's and future vision.
  • Support the development of best practices for medication management & technology adoption
  • Provides continuity & knowledge transfer, pre-sale into Implementation
  • Serves as a resource to customers on the issues relating to hospital practice and, more specifically, the medication management process.
  • Leads specific projects as identified by leadership
  • Assists in training and development
  • Identifies opportunities for cross-selling new products across Omnicell, selling add-on and replacement solutions, and lay the foundation for customer success.
  • Aligns with regional quota attainment, account strategy development, and growth and reference ability in assigned accounts
