Full Job Description
Job Summary

The IPOP model provides coordinated cell and gene therapy care in an ambulatory setting enabling patients to receive intensive treatment while minimizing inpatient stays. Patients are evaluated and treated during the day by a specialized multidisciplinary team (Physician, APPs, Pharmacist, Nursing). The team ensures administration of therapies, completion of clinical assessments, and coordination of supportive care services. Nursing staff play a critical role in patient education, symptom triage, and ongoing assessment to ensure early identification of complications.

At the end of each treatment day, patients return home or to nearby housing, where they are supported through remote monitoring, structured symptom management, and scheduled clinical follow-up. Nursing staff play a vital role in patient education, symptom triage, and ongoing assessment to ensure early identification and management of complications.

If a patient?s condition worsens after hours, they can present directly to the Oncology Treatment and Evaluation Center (OTEC) for urgent evaluation and supportive oncology care, bypassing the emergency department. For patients requiring a higher level of care, streamlined direct admission pathways are in place. Once stabilized, patients transition back to the IPOP model, ensuring continuity of care while reducing unnecessary inpatient admissions.
