Job Description:
The Department of Health Services Research, Management and Policy (HSRMP) at the University of Florida (https://hsrmp.phhp.ufl.edu/) invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty member at the rank of Clinical Associate Professor. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month position, expected to start no later than Spring of 2027.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of teaching excellence, professional engagement, and successful grantsmanship. Responsibilities will primarily focus on teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in healthcare management, public health, and related disciplines. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in instruction, including online teaching, student mentorship, and curriculum development. This position also offers opportunities to contribute to the growth of the Master of Health Administration (MHA) and Master of Public Health (MPH) programs. The ideal candidate should also demonstrate ongoing scholarly and professional engagement through contributions to manuscripts and publications, externally funded projects, and established relationships with healthcare and public health organizations at the local, state, and national levels.

As a department within the College of Public Health and Health Professions and a part of UF Health, HSRMP offers opportunities for collaboration across the department, college, university, and health system. The candidate will contribute to the department's education, research, and service missions through partnerships with health system leaders and providers, student mentorship, participation in departmental and college committees, and engagement with professional organizations.

The department is located in the Health Professions, Nursing, and Pharmacy Complex and is part of the top-ranked accredited College of Public Health and Health Professions. The department has an active and significant research portfolio in diabetes, cancer, and health disparities. We offer an undergraduate minor in Health Administration, a Master of Health Administration, a MPH concentration in Population Health Management and a health services research concentration in the PhD in Public Health Program. Faculty contribute to the undergraduate health science and public health programs through teaching and mentorship. Departmental faculty provide instructional and health services research expertise in diverse health areas, such as diabetes, infectious disease, cancer, and cardiovascular disease.

UF is ranked as a top ten U.S. public university and is a comprehensive Research I institution that includes a wide range of academic departments and programs. The College of Public Health and Health Professions is part of the University's Health Science Center. The UF Health Science Center is the country's only academic health center with six health related colleges located on a single, contiguous campus. Required Qualifications:
A doctoral degree in health services research, health administration, health management, health economics, health policy, public health, or a related field.

Preferred:
Demonstrated excellence in teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, online instruction, manuscripts and publications, externally funded projects, and engagement with healthcare and public health organizations.
