IN SUMMARY...The Clinical Implementation Consultant is a senior applications role responsible for leading Azalea clients through the clinical design of their EHR Implementation. They are tasked with aligning client workflows with industry and Azalea best practices to ensure the client's desired clinical outcomes are met.
WHAT YOU WILL DO...- Configure and validate clinical system data, including compendiums and orderables.
- Lead clinical discovery and design sessions to ensure system configuration aligns with client operational and reporting needs.
- Leverage subject matter expertise in hospital clinical workflows to advise clients and configure Azalea products in a manner that supports intended clinical outcomes and industry best practices
- Review and assess client clinical data for completeness, accuracy, and readiness prior to build activities, identifying risks or gaps early in the implementation lifecycle in order to mitigate appropriately.
- Collaborate with LIS, PACS, Med Despense, and other integration partners to ensure accurate clinical data flow.
- Partner with financial consultants, applications specialists, integrations, and Project Management team members to ensure coordinated delivery across functional areas.
- Mentor Applications Specialists and provide detailed documentation during projects to enable them to successfully train clients and assist in configuration
- Provide both remote and on-site subject matter expertise during all phases of the implementation.
- Clinical Applications Consultants will primarily work on Hospital implementations and support the delivery of other Azalea product lines as needed.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of implementation methodology,
standards, and documentation.
BACKGROUND AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING... - Credentialed RN (preferred)
- Strong hospital operations or HIM leadership experience, particularly with EHR implementation and go-live participation
- Prior demonstrated experience implementing EHRs, or health information technology preferred
- Previous experience in developing clinical workflows with documentation and processes that align with program goals and objectives
- Experience in training, educating, and instructing clinical and other users on features and operations of software applications
- Advanced communication and organizational skills with the ability to influence results at multiple organizational levels
- Customer service and client relations acumen
- Excellent computer skills with strong proficiency in web-based and SaaS application
- Flexibility and adaptability; must be able to seamlessly pivot to meet objectives of physicians, practice administrators, and other executives
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
