Physical Therapy Clinic Director

Location: Fayetteville, GA

About the Opportunity: At Georgia Bone & Joint, we are a leader in orthopedic medical care with growing practices around south Atlanta. We are seeking a driven and experienced Physical Therapist to lead our physical and occupational therapy clinic. In this dynamic role as a clinic manager, you will engage in direct patient care and comprehensive clinic leadership. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving financial health, ensuring staff compliance, and cultivating a positive, growth-oriented environment for both our staff and our patients.

Clinical Manager Role Overview

Clinical Excellence & Patient Care

  • Perform all duties required of a physical therapist, providing top-tier care in compliance with state laws and regulations.
  • Ensure all therapists are providing the highest quality of patient care, offering clinical mentorship and guidance when needed.
  • Receive patient feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally to guarantee an exceptional patient experience.
  • Facilitate efficient patient scheduling to keep the clinic full and maximize patient care.


Operations & Financial Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including the management of therapists and aides while collaborating with the front office staff.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and manage productivity to maximize clinic efficiency, appropriate revenue generation, and overall profitability.
  • Manage the clinic budget and expenses, including patient travel, office supplies, and medical equipment, ordering supplies within budgetary limits.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the front desk, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), and billing teams to ensure accurate billing, reimbursement, and appropriate utilization of services.


Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop clinic staff, fostering a collaborative, highly engaged, and growth-oriented work environment.
  • Manage employee schedules, conduct annual performance reviews, and facilitate ongoing staff training.
  • Conduct interviews and hire new team members as needed to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
  • Lead monthly staff meetings and maintain open lines of communication across all departments.


Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure the clinic strictly complies with all state and federal healthcare regulations by staying up-to-date on ever-changing laws and policies.
  • Conduct routine staff chart reviews and billing audits to ensure compliance with documentation standards and accurate billing.
  • Give input on policies, procedures, and strategy, collaborating with company leadership to ensure uniform protocols across the organization.


Community & Relationship Building

  • Establish and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with referring physicians, physician assistants, administrative staff, and other departments.
  • Make a positive impact outside the clinic by engaging in local community events and developing partnerships with local schools and athletic programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department director.
