As a Client Communications Specialist within the American Funds Service Group, you will develop and implement communication plans that support external advisors and investors. You will help drive business value by conducting research, reviewing business requirements for service-related communication, and identifying areas of improvement. You will leverage data, client feedback and business insights to identify opportunities to optimize communication effectiveness. You will serve as a strategic partner to business stakeholders. You will lead and/or participate in projects, working closely with other business units and project managers to ensure we provide proactive communication to improve the client experience. You will also educate others, providing guidance on communication strategy and best practices.

  • You have 3+ years of experience leading or supporting project planning, campaign management, or related initiatives, with demonstrated ability to develop plans, manage timelines and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
  • You bring advanced proficiency with Excel and data analysis, including experience manipulating large datasets, utilizing PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions, filtering and validating data, and translating reporting insights into actionable recommendations.
  • You are a skilled communicator. You place a high value on being authentic, respectful, and engaging.
  • You have high service orientation, integrity and take ownership of work.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $99,484-$159,174

San Antonio Base Salary Range: $81,784-$130,854

Indianapolis Base Salary Range: $87,113-$139,381

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
