Full Job Description
Description

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Vice President, Entity Vetting Client Solutions to drive growth and client solutions within Xcelerate's Enterprise Vetting & Analysis (EV&A) portfolio.

This is a high-visibility individual contributor role that combines business development, client engagement, solution development, and delivery leadership. The VP will identify and shape new opportunities, develop senior client relationships, understand mission and operational requirements, and translate those requirements into effective entity-vetting solutions. The individual will work closely with EV&A leadership and delivery teams to ensure that solutions are both compelling to the client and executable by the organization.

The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of the federal government and GovCon environment, a demonstrated track record of developing and winning business, and substantive experience with vetting, investigations, risk analysis, or related national security missions. They will be equally comfortable engaging senior executives and government stakeholders, shaping a new opportunity, and working with operational subject matter experts to solve complex client challenges.

This role is not tied to a specific agency or customer portfolio and will support growth across the broader federal government and GovCon ecosystem.

Business Development & Growth
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans for entity vetting and related EV&A capabilities across the federal government and GovCon market.
  • Identify, qualify, and shape new business opportunities aligned with Xcelerate's capabilities and long-term growth strategy.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior government leaders, acquisition officials, industry partners, and executive decision-makers.
  • Identify client needs and emerging mission requirements where entity vetting, personnel vetting, investigations, analysis, or related EV&A capabilities can provide value.
  • Lead account planning, opportunity qualification, pipeline development, and client engagement activities to drive sustained revenue growth.
  • Own or support the full business development lifecycle, from opportunity identification and qualification through capture, proposal, and contract award.
  • Collaborate closely with Capture, Proposal, Solutions, EV&A, and Executive Leadership teams to develop and execute winning strategies.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting within Salesforce.
  • Represent Xcelerate at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements to strengthen market presence and generate new opportunities.

Client Solutions & Delivery
  • Serve as a senior client-facing leader from initial discovery through solution development, implementation, and ongoing engagement.
  • Develop a clear understanding of client mission requirements, operational challenges, risk environment, and desired outcomes.
  • Translate client requirements into practical, differentiated, and executable entity-vetting and EV&A solutions.
  • Partner closely with EV&A leadership and delivery teams to scope work, define requirements, establish delivery approaches, and ensure alignment between client expectations and operational execution.
  • Provide strategic oversight and subject matter guidance on complex entity-vetting engagements.
  • Participate in executive briefings, client working sessions, QBRs, solution reviews, and other senior-level engagements.

Minimum Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in federal business development, client solutions, investigations, personnel security, entity vetting, intelligence analysis, risk management, national security, government contracting, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing senior-level relationships within the federal government and/or GovCon ecosystem.
  • Proven experience with the business development lifecycle, including opportunity identification, qualification, solution development, capture, proposal support, and award.
  • Demonstrated understanding of personnel or entity vetting, investigations, security, intelligence analysis, risk analysis, or related mission areas.
  • Experience translating complex mission or client requirements into practical solutions and supporting successful delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across business development, solution development, and delivery organizations.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to engage C-level executives, senior government stakeholders, and technical and operational subject matter experts.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and client communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate clear, actionable conclusions.
  • Experience managing pipeline and forecast reporting in Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Existing relationships within the federal personnel security, investigations, national security, intelligence, or GovCon communities.
  • Active security clearance.
