Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year
Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Client Accounting Services (CAS) Manager with strong expertise in post-acquisition accounting, purchase accounting, and financial integration. This role will support privately held companies through post-close accounting activities, including Purchase Price Accounting (PPA), Net Working Capital (NWC) true-ups, ERP implementations, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, experience managing client engagements, and the ability to lead accounting transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Post-Acquisition Accounting & Integration
  • Lead post-close accounting engagements following mergers and acquisitions.
  • Prepare opening balance sheet adjustments and purchase accounting schedules in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Manage Purchase Price Accounting (PPA) processes and Net Working Capital (NWC) true-ups.
  • Support clients through accounting transition and integration activities.
Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting
  • Provide accounting guidance on:
    • Revenue recognition (ASC 606)
    • Lease accounting
    • Inventory accounting
    • Equity transactions
  • Review financial statements and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist clients with complex accounting matters and reporting requirements.
Systems Implementation & Process Improvement
  • Lead accounting software implementations and data migration projects.
  • Evaluate existing accounting workflows and recommend process improvements.
  • Design reporting structures, accounting procedures, and internal controls.
  • Support automation and operational efficiency initiatives.
Client Management & Leadership
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client engagements.
  • Build strong client relationships and provide strategic accounting support.
  • Review work performed by accounting staff and mentor junior team members.
  • Manage multiple projects while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong experience with:
