Full Job Description
We are seeking a Client Account Lead to own and grow one of Avanade's strategic accounts within the Global Asset Management sector. This role is accountable for driving client satisfaction, strengthening executive relationships, and accelerating growth through disciplined account leadership and proactive engagement.

You will operate as the single point of accountability for the client, ensuring strong delivery alignment, clear commercial ownership, and consistent, high-quality engagement across Avanade, Accenture, and Microsoft teams.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Engagement

  • Serve as the day-to-day executive lead, improving responsiveness, proactivity, and overall client experience
  • Re-establish strong, consistent leadership presence, including regular on-site engagement
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and act as a credible advisor on business and technology priorities


Account Growth

  • Own account planning and execution to protect and expand revenue
  • Accelerate priority initiatives (e.g., automation, managed services, and commercialization efforts)
  • Drive pipeline development and reduce cycle times through focused deal leadership and orchestration


Delivery & Operational Excellence

  • Ensure alignment across sales, solutioning, and delivery teams to drive predictable outcomes
  • Strengthen execution rigor across managed services and transformation programs
  • Provide clear accountability and decision-making to enable faster issue resolution and improved delivery performance


Risk Management & Stabilization

  • Actively manage account health, addressing client escalations and satisfaction risks
  • Bring structure and ownership to areas experiencing delays or inconsistency
  • Ensure continuity of leadership and reduce reliance on distributed, fragmented ownership models


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in client account leadership, consulting, or technology services
  • Experience in Products, Asset Management, or Financial Services (institutional investors, infrastructure, real assets)
  • Proven ability to recover, stabilize, and grow strategic accounts
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex stakeholder environments across client, partner, and internal teams
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience driving pipeline, revenue growth, and large deal execution

Toronto $220,000 - $245,000

Calgary $220,000 - $245,000

* In addition to base pay, this Sales role is eligible for additional incentive compensation under the Sales Achievement Bonus Plan which is based on achievement toward individual sales targets, subject to Plan terms.
