Job Summary
The Clearance Coordinator supports the safe, reliable, and efficient execution of work on the gas system by coordinating operational activities between Gas Control, Gas Operations, contractors, and other stakeholders. This role is responsible for planning and managing work schedules, supporting emergency response efforts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Opportunities exist at multiple levels within this job family, with responsibilities ranging from supporting daily operations to leading complex clearance activities, cross-functional projects, and process improvement efforts.

Essential Functions

• Coordinate and manage clearance-related activities supporting gas system operations.
• Collaborate with Gas Control, Gas Operations, contractors, and suppliers to ensure work is planned and executed safely.
• Monitor schedules, work activities, and operational priorities to support efficient workflow execution.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support or lead audits, investigations, and operational reviews.
• Analyze operational issues and recommend corrective actions and process improvements.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and operational performance metrics.
• Assist with or lead emergency response and restoration activities as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Provide operational support during extended hours, critical work windows, or emergency situations.

Required Qualifications For Position

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience in utility operations, gas operations, project coordination, system planning, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position

• Gas utility experience.
• Experience with compliance, auditing, or operational risk management.
• Experience working with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Project management experience or training.

Salary Range*:
$69,900.00 - $123,200.00

*The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity.
