Position Summary

In your role as a Cleans TR, you'll lead a high-performance team of equipment engineers on its Leviathan team. The Leviathan team is primarily responsible for SEMES tools, and FOUP Washers. These tools are responsible for cleaning wafers at virtually every layer in the factory and the leader will have visibility to a large number of integrated/complex issues. The leader will own the day-to-day operations of the engineering team and help drive long term projects for cost-reduction and continuous improvement.

You'll also lead and serve as the primary liaison between Cleans, SEMES and other cross functional teams.

Role and Responsibilities

Here's what you'll be responsible for:
• Supervising 6-10 equipment engineers, and provide coaching, performance reviews, and growth plans.
• Fostering a collaborative culture and champion Lean/TPS/6S practices.
• Oversee the full equipment lifecycle for fab equipment - from qualification to de-commission.
• Manage Change-Point Management (CPM) activities, daily equipment status reviews, and qualification matrix updates.
• Review pass-downs, WIP, and work request queues each shift.
• Prioritize equipment repairs, parts orders, and qualification.
• Supervise PTP/WR tickets for non-urgent work.
• Drive quality initiatives within team
• Adopt/Strategize new projects to improve cost/quality/throughput.
• Use Python, VBA, Spotfire, or JMP to analyze equipment data, spot trends, and recommend adjustments.
• Partner with SEMES, other vendors, Fab Engineering, Maintenance, and other support groups to resolve difficult equipment problems.
• Own capital projects for new or upgraded equipment, including cost justification, schedule coordination, and budget tracking.
• Lead cross-functional TFTs focused on Stop-Loss, BM reduction, and quality improvements
• Ensure all work follows SAS fab protocols (clean-room attire, PPE, ability to lift 60 35 lb).
• Keep equipment certifications current and maintain audit readiness.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

• BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or Computer Science
• 5+ years semiconductor equipment engineering
• 2+ years of direct supervisory or lead experience.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and qualifying fab tools.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, VBA) and/or data-analysis tools (Spotfire, JMP, Matlab, SQL).
• Strong grasp of statistical methods, Change-Point Management, and structured problem solving.
