Lead the Standard of Excellence in Healthcare Kitchen Cleaning
At HHS, we're looking for an experienced CDT (Cleaning Detail Team) Director to lead specialized cleaning operations across healthcare facilities nationwide. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about creating safe, compliant, and high-performing food service environments while developing teams and building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement healthcare kitchen cleaning programs that meet federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Create standardized cleaning processes for kitchens, floors, walls, ceilings, and specialized equipment.
  • Train, coach, and mentor Cleaning Detail Team (CDT) staff to ensure consistent execution and high performance.
  • Conduct staff evaluations, provide ongoing development, and manage scheduling and performance.
  • Partner with Executive Chefs and facility leadership to support clean, safe, and efficient food service operations.
  • Develop cleaning tools, training materials, and best practices for healthcare environments.
  • Ensure required safety and driving training is completed for team members.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through communication, accountability, and exceptional service.
  • Monitor cleaning quality, measure performance, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Submit operational reports and required documentation accurately and on time.
  • What We're Looking For
    Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare environmental services, healthcare food service, or hospital cleaning operations experience
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare cleaning standards and regulatory compliance
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Education
  • No degree required
  • Relevant healthcare cleaning, environmental services, or food service leadership experience is highly preferred.
  • Physical Requirements
    This role requires standing, walking, frequent movement throughout healthcare facilities, occasional lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and operating cleaning equipment.
