Description Position at Swift Transportation
Job Responsibilities: What you will doManage auto property damage and bodily injury claims from initial investigation through evaluation and final settlement, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.Incumbents have up to $50,000 reserve authority; $25,000 settlement authority and $20,000 payment authority. Incumbents focused on workers' compensation have up to $100k in total incurred authority.
- Studies reports and similar claims to determine validity of the claim.
- Reviews, evaluates and processes claims and makes recommendations for resolution.
- Examines and authorizes payments within prescribed fiscal authority.
- Communicates with independent adjusters, third party administrators (TPAs'), claimants and attorneys to ensure claims are settled in an appropriate manner.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring- 3+ years' experience in insurance/claims required.
- Must possess strong investigative skills with the ability to achieve optimal conflict resolutions.
- Must possess strong negotiation skills and be able to appropriately influence and persuade others.
- Must possess strong fact finding skills with ability to gather detailed information.
- Must be able to effectively manage multiple demands.
- Must be able to work independently or in a team environment.
- Bachelors' degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Pay Range: $73,850.00 - $94,950.00 Annual
