What you can expect as a Claims Business Analyst:
- Analyze claims data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and root causes impacting claim severity, leakage, cycle time, re-open rates, expense management, and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with Claims Operations, Quality Assurance, SIU, Finance, and leadership to translate business questions into analytical requirements and success metrics.
- Develop actionable insights and recommendations to improve claims handling practices, reduce operational risk, and enhance efficiency across the claims lifecycle.
- Monitor emerging trends in claims performance and proactively communicate insights, risks, and opportunities to claims leadership.
- Perform detailed analysis to identify cost drivers, operational inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, tailoring communication to adjusters, managers, and executives.
What we are looking for as a Claims Business Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in insurance or claims operations.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
