Job Description
BAE is revolutionizing how Norfolk Maritime Solutions makes decisions based on data. This position will directly support Planning in predictive modeling of schedule and cost performance across multiple 100+ million-dollar projects for Senior Leadership using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other database tools. He/she will organize, extract, and maintain historical and existing project data to support program planning, solicitation, management, and control of multi-million-dollar Department of Defense (DoD) ship repair projects. He/she regularly coordinates with Finance, Contracts, Project Management, and Senior Directors to set up and review inter-departmental and multi-Shipyard data processes and enterprise-level reporting. The role prepares ad hoc reports and analyses as required.
Required Skills and Education
Bachelor's with minimum of 6 years' experience. Have the ability to develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, automate Excel workbooks, build data warehouses with emphasis on historical data capture to highlight key trends, ability to forecast, and real-time data reporting for use across several functional levels of project stakeholders. Be able to utilize Artificial Intelligence in data engineering, analytics, and visualization. Must be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams, produce reports, and brief projects to small groups. Be able to explore and evaluate new technologies with emphasis on designing, execution and maintenance of workflow life cycles.

Preferred Skills and Education
Master's degree with minimum of 3 years' experience or bachelor's with minimum of 6 years' experience. Have the ability to develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, automate Excel workbooks, build data warehouses with emphasis on historical data capture to highlight key trends, ability to forecast, and real-time data reporting for use across several functional levels of project stakeholders. Be able to utilize Artificial Intelligence in data engineering, analytics, and visualization. A highly qualified candidate will have the preferred experience in the use of AI modeling and Machine Learning, be an expert in Excel, have the ability to develop and modernize existing or new data workflows, and expertise in statistical analysis including ad hoc analysis to create predictive models.
