Over the past five years, we've expanded our structural engineering team and client base across the U.S. We're now seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Houston, contributing to high-profile tunneling, shoring, and emergency-response projects alongside our established design group.

Salary Range$85,000-$95,000, depending on experience

Key Functions- Design structures by calculating loads and stresses in materials and structures
- Prepare structural steel and reinforced concrete plans (plan views and sections) for civil and public works projects
- Develop engineering documents, construction specifications, plans, and schedules from project concepts, drawings, and models
- Apply principles of mechanics, mathematics, and physics to produce design calculations and oversee production of drawings
- Analyze survey, mapping, and materials-testing data using computer modeling software
- Provide technical direction to CAD technicians for project drawings
- Interact directly with clients on ongoing project requirements
Experience- 5+ years of experience in structural design
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis software (RISA), AutoCAD, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under deadline pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
