As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead land development projects from concept through construction. What You'll DoYou'll lead land development projects from proposal through construction closeout while serving as the primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and internal project teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing commercial, residential, mixed-use, and public land development projects from concept through completion.
- Preparing proposals, scopes of work, schedules, and contracts.
- Coordinating permitting and agency approvals with local jurisdictions, VDOT, and DEQ.
- Designing and reviewing grading, stormwater, utility, and erosion and sediment control plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Performing quality assurance and quality control reviews to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
- Mentoring and developing junior engineers while providing technical guidance throughout project execution.
- Leading project kickoff meetings and coordinating with internal disciplines to deliver successful projects.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services.
- Managing project budgets, utilization, invoicing, change orders, and overall project performance.
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- EIT required; PE preferred or the ability to obtain licensure within 12 to 18 months.
- Seven or more years of experience in land development engineering.
- At least two years of project management experience.
- Strong understanding of Virginia site development, permitting, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and experience using Hydraflow, Storm Sewer, and WaterCAD.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation for this position is $110,000to $155,000/Annually, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description.
