Civil Engineer - OCONUSKinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo
The Challenge:Exp Federal is accepting applications for exciting career opportunities overseas in conjunction with a contract supporting the U.S. Department of State.
This position is on site in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Principle Areas of Responsibility:- Understand, the layout, and size of fundamental systems: storm, sanitary, vent, water, and gas.
- Review contractor submittals against specifications and respond to contractor Request for Information (RFIs).
- Develop independent cost estimates both for the government as well as for internal proposal purposes.
- Understand the scope of SD, DD, and CD level documents and be able to prepare and deliver drawings at the appropriate level
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's in engineering from an accredited American university or Professional Engineering License
- 7+ years of experience in the commercial construction industry
- Active Security Clearance from the US Federal Government. Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
Salary Range:
This position has an annual range of $110,000.00 To $150,000.00. The actual hourly is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
