Job Duties: Responsible for delivering roadway and transportation improvements on design-build projects. Work on diverse public works infrastructure projects including fish passages and major transportation improvements. Produce civil design plans and specifications for roadway projects including roadway alignment and profiles, sections, grading and paving, stormwater, wet utility plans, signing/striping, and maintenance of traffic. Prepare project proposals, while interfacing and coordinating with clients. Lead a team of engineers and drafters to achieve common goals and schedules as a key member of a collaborative team. Telecommuting permitted 2 days/week.

Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field

Experience Requirements: Two (2) years of experience in each of the following:
  • Preparing design analysis and pavement design reports
  • Designing the horizontal and vertical alignment of roadways
  • Preparing roadway/transportation design documents and specifications
  • Utilizing advanced InRoads, Microstation, or OpenRoads design software
  • Producing ADA ramp, shared use path, sidewalk, or driveway design plans
  • Performing 3D modeling, grading, auto turn analysis, and quantity and cost estimates

Special Requirement:
  • Must have passed the Principles and Practice of Engineering Exam

JOB LOCATION: 1601 5th Ave., Suite 1300, Seattle, WA 98101

SALARY RANGE: $104,400 - $110,000

Compensation package includes benefits and bonuses.
