Our team is developing cutting edge technologies that directly support critical Department of War priorities, combining both proven and first-of-their-kind capabilities that have never been applied in space. Candidates experienced as USAF/USSF acquisition officers (AFSC: 63A) or developmental engineers (AFSC: 62E) leading satellite programs in the USSF (SSC), NRO, or SDA, applying the full range of the systems engineering discipline (e.g., Requirements Development, Architecture, SE milestones: SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.), and/or DAWIA/PMI Program Management will be especially well-prepared to excel.

Job Description:

This hybrid position is for a Cislunar Community Integrator supporting cutting-edge and innovative space programs. The Cislunar Community Integrator is a vital link to our proven technical team of system engineers and satellite subject matter experts. The is a hybrid position and the selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating with the government and civilian organizations to understand existing and future Cislunar technologies.

The individual will be required to work from one of the following US military bases 3-5 days per month:Arnold Air Force Base (Tullahoma, TN 37389), Kirtland Space Force Base (Albuquerque, NM87117, though some base facilities and surrounding areas also use 87116 and 87123),and/or Peterson Air Force Base/Space Force Base (Colorado Springs, CO80914)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Serves as the primary coordinator for Cislunar Community engagement, overseeing all community forums and spearheading the annual Cislunar Community Conference.
  • Designs and maintains technology roadmaps that visualize development timelines, dependencies, and incremental capability improvements over time.
  • Researches and analyzes cislunar technologies and advises the DoD on options for future use and integration.
  • Coordinates quarterly meetings and yearly community forum for information exchange on Cislunar advancements.
  • Identifies stakeholders and maintains coordination information to support effective community collaboration.
  • Provides the Director of the Cislunar Coordination Office (CCO) with analysis and recommendations for technology investments and inclusion in the cislunar roadmap.
  • Develops documents and briefings to communicate work or study status and briefs the Government as required.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience or a Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience.
  • Experience providing systems engineering support and technical guidance.
  • Ability to work in a very dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, team building and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to be effective in a government/contractor team environment.

  • Bachelor's degree required / Master's degree preferred.
  • Previous SAP experience desired.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
