Summary:The IT Sourcing Strategy Manager is responsible for developing and implementing an IT sourcing strategy within a multi-sourced IT environment. As a key member of the CIO's leadership team, this role collaborates with IT and business leaders to execute sourcing strategies. The position leads the IT Sourcing Office in optimizing sourcing, acquisition, and delivery of IT products and services, making strategic in-sourcing and outsourcing decisions aligned with IT and business goals.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT sourcing strategy for a multi-sourced environment.
- Collaborate with IT and business leaders to align sourcing strategies with organizational objectives.
- Lead the IT Sourcing Office in evaluating cost-effective and efficient sourcing methods.
- Make strategic decisions on in-sourcing versus outsourcing based on business direction.
- Create governance mechanisms to integrate vendor relationship management, contract management, IT project management, and asset management.
- Oversee strategic planning and development of sourcing strategies in collaboration with technical and business leadership.
- Report enterprise-wide sourcing strategy results to the CIO, CTO, or IT COO.
Required skills:- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing large, cross-functional teams and projects.
- Experience influencing senior management and key stakeholders.
- Expertise in vendor relationship management, contract negotiation, and contract administration.
- Experience in project or asset management within a technology environment.
- Senior level management experience with strategic planning and development of sourcing strategies.
