The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Chief of Programming & Budget Branch, GS-0343-14 to work at HQ AMC/A6XR, Scott AFB, IL SALARY RANGE: $128,967 - $167,663 Moving expenses may be paid. Qualifications/Requirements: In this senior management role, you will direct the financial strategy and resource allocation for a massive portfolio of IT, cyber, projects and programs that power the global mobility mission of Air Mobility Command. SKILLS DESIRED: Financial Management, Portfolio Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE) U.S. Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security clearance. Education requirements: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/0300/management-and-program-analysis-series-0343/ Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) and Secretary of Air Force (SAF) financial management regulations; budget formulation and development; and contracting policies and procedures. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization through subordinate supervisors. Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources. Incumbent is required to file an OGE Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, upon appointment and will be required to file annually.
