The expected compensation range for this position is from the minimum to midpoint of the pay grade. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, education, and organization fit.
This position is eligible for participation in the annual bonus program
How you'll make an impact in this role The Chief Operating Officer (COO) serves as the primary operational leader for Ascension Alexian Brothers Medical Center (ABMC). This executive is responsible for driving operational excellence, operational rigor, and financial performance across all clinical and non-clinical departments.
- Formulate policies and strategic plans for future growth.
- Plan, direct and coordinate overall daily operations.
- Responsible for building relationships to establish partnerships and affiliations.
- Direct operational efficiency and improvement to meet financial targets and collaborate to establish control systems for accountability.
- Collaborate to plan and organize staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, and educating in support of operational objectives.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Nursing Home Administrator preferred.
Education:
- Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 4 of those years being in leadership/management. OR 7 years of experience required. 10 years of experience preferred. 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
What additional preferences we're seeking- 2-5 years of prior C-suite leadership experience
- Master's degree preferred
- Hands-on operational leadership experience
- Proven experience with tactical execution and growth strategies
