Full Job Description

About the team:

This is a unique opportunity to shape a new role on one of the most visible teams at Angi. The Chief of Staff is the VP of Talent Acquisition's closest operating partner - part analyst, part program owner. You will bring the habits of a consulting, banking or strategy background - problems framed before they are solved and a real model sitting behind the recommendation and point them at the decisions that determine how Angi hires. We are hiring for how you think, not for what you know about recruiting.

You will set the operating cadence of the function, build the frameworks the team uses to structure problems, and act as the connective tissue between Talent, Finance, Legal, InfoSec, People and senior leadership. You will report to the VP, Talent Acquisition and serve as a critical thought partner at the leadership table - translating ambiguous, high-level priorities into a clear roadmap, and executing on those quickly and effectively.

While this is a remote position, we are a global company and are looking for applicants located in eastern or central time zones to align with our team's working hours.

What you'll do:
  • Translate ambiguous, high-level priorities into a clear plan with owners, dates and trade-offs made explicit, then drive it to closure.
  • Build and continuously refine capacity planning models to forecast hiring capacity and staffing needs, and flag the headcount and efficiency opportunities that move cost per hire.
  • Dive into data to identify opportunities for improvement, build business cases, and drive change via large cross-functional projects.
  • Program manage changes that span multiple teams and months, building cross-functional buy-in and providing updates and impact to senior leadership.
  • Own the function's reporting, and build it so leadership can answer its standing questions without commissioning a fresh analysis every month.
  • Proactively leverage GenAI tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude) to synthesize complex hiring data and cross-functional insights, streamlining strategic proposals and materials.

Who you are:
  • You have 3-5 years of professional experience in consulting, finance, or strategy. In-house experience after consulting or finance experience is a plus.
  • You have demonstrated experience gathering data from various sources and driving strategic insight and decision-making.
  • You can build a model from a blank spreadsheet rather than maintain someone else's.
  • You have a strong interest in Angi, home services, marketplaces and product-driven organizations
  • You are an AI enthusiast: you are an early adopter, rigorous explorer, and high volume user of Claude, ChatGPT, and competing or complementary AI tools.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • The base salary band for this position ranges from $110,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location.
  • This position will be eligible for a competitive year end performance bonus.
  • Full medical, dental, vision package to fit your needs.
  • Flexible vacation policy; work hard and take time when you need it.
  • Pet discount plans & retirement plan with company match (401K).
  • The rare opportunity to work with sharp, motivated teammates solving some of the most unique challenges and changing the world
