Full Job Description
The Role

This position will be lead the Finance, Tax and Treasury departments in the US, and is accountable for the Group's strategic financial leadership and financial wellbeing in the US. The CFO will partner the business heads in growing the US business portfolios and optimizing our assets, capital structure and investments in the US, focusing on outcomes that drive economic value for the Group.

Job Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership to the finance, accounting, tax and treasury functions in the US including developing high performing teams. Lead and execute the financial strategy for all the US business portfolios and its growth. Responsible to monitor the financial success of all the US business portfolios. Oversee all financial activities including the preparation of current financial and tax reports and summaries and create forecasts predicting future growth. Ensure that all US operations comply with accounting, tax, legislative and regulative requirements. Ensure prudent balance sheet management and is opportunistic about creating value. Find opportunities to enhance the company's cash and working capital position. Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner. Forecast, manage and mitigate any associated risks within the Treasury function, manage banking relationships and setting a clear, well-defined Treasury strategy for the US that aligns with the Group's overall objectives. Responsible for cash management and treasury matters, liaising with banks locally to build strong relationships. Ability to oversee strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects from conceptual, definition of requirements to full implementation and successful go live of systems/ infrastructure.

Job Requirements
  • Masters or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Banking, Business Administration, or equivalent from a recognized University and with CPA qualification.
  • Over 20 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the real estate industry including at least 7 years in similar position managing multi departments.
  • You should be familiar with US accounting standards, international Financial Reporting standards, international tax regulations, foreign exchange and interest rate environment across various currencies.
  • Proven ability to rely on experience and judgment to lead and manage complex, concurrent projects in a fast-paced, changing environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willing to travel and prepared to work across different time zones and with regional teams in Asia.


Compensation Data

$300,000 - $375,000

This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the indicated state's Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful applicant, in the state of hire, might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be performing the role from the indicated state of hire. Similar positions located outside the indicated state will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by the Pay Transparency Law enacted in the state of hire. Compensation offers are based on a wide range of factors including previous work experience, specific industry experience, relevant skills, training and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
