Job Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the company's overall financial management and serves as the senior financial advisor to the President and the executive leadership team. The CFO oversees general accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, cash management, credit (Corporate and AR), insurance, investments, and financial compliance.

The CFO develops financial strategies that support the company's goals, establishes financial policies and internal controls, and monitors financial performance to help guide business decisions. This position ensures the company's financial stability, manages relationships with banks, auditors, insurance providers, and other financial partners, and leads the finance and accounting team in delivering accurate, timely and effective financial operations.

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
  2. Experience: 10+ years of progressive financial leadership. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, risk management, analytics, and strategic planning.
  3. Knowledge: Financial management, accounting principles, and corporate finance.
  4. Computer Literacy: Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  5. Communication: Clear, effective communication skills (both verbal and written, in-person and over the phone).
  6. Discretion: Able to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in all matters.
  7. Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with a sharp eye for detail.
  8. Critical Thinking: Able to solve problems by using critical thinking skills and strategy.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working in retail or service industries.
  • MBA, CPA

Certifications:
Valid driver's license

Working Conditions
