We are looking for a
Chief Financial Officer to join the Executive team at OFD. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a strategic member of the executive leadership team, responsible for leading the company's financial strategy, financial operations, and enterprise risk management. The CFO partners with senior leaders to translate business strategy into financial plans, strengthen profitable growth, improve cash flow and working capital, and guide investment decisions across a multi-site food and nutraceutical manufacturing organization with operations in Oregon and New York. This role provides strategic leadership for the Finance & Accounting organization, building a high-performing team that delivers accurate financial information, actionable business insights, and trusted business partnership across the company.
You will get to: - Partner with the executive leadership team to develop and execute the company's strategic and financial priorities, ensuring alignment between business objectives, resource allocation, and long-term growth.
- Provide financial leadership and strategic perspective to the CEO, executive leadership team, and Board, helping guide key business decisions, investments, and growth initiatives.
- Lead the company's annual operating plan, long-range planning process, forecasting activities, and performance review cadence, ensuring accountability for financial and operational results.
- Drive profitable growth by evaluating business opportunities, pricing strategies, customer and product profitability, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain leadership to improve profitability, cash flow, productivity, inventory performance, asset utilization, and overall business performance across both manufacturing facilities.
- Provide executive leadership for the Finance & Accounting organization, building a high-performing team of strategic business partners who deliver the financial capabilities, discipline, and insights necessary to achieve organizational objectives.
- Lead cash flow, working capital, treasury, and capital allocation strategies to optimize liquidity, support growth, and maximize return on investment.
- Evaluate and prioritize capital investments, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and other growth opportunities, providing financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Ensure the company maintains strong financial governance, internal controls, and risk management practices that protect company assets and support sustainable business performance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with banking partners, auditors, insurance providers, tax advisors, and other external financial partners.
- Champion data-driven decision-making by leveraging financial and operational information, reporting capabilities, and business systems to improve visibility and business performance.
- Build financial acumen throughout the organization by helping leaders understand business results, key performance drivers, and the financial impact of operational decisions.
- Embody OFD's cultural values and aligns daily actions with department and company culture.

We are looking for someone who has:- Generally, a minimum ofeighteen years (18)of progressive finance and accounting experience in with a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- CPA, CMA or MPA highly preferred.
- Generally, a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience leading and managing teams.
- Food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or other complex manufacturing industry experience required.
- Proven ability to build strategic business partnerships across the organization and within the executive leadership team.
- Experience leading finance and accounting functions in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to improve EBITDA, cash flow, working capital, and overall business performance.
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to align financial strategy with organizational goals.
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing finance, including cost accounting, inventory management, profitability analysis, capital investments, and operational performance drivers.
- Expertise in financial planning, forecasting, cash flow management, and performance measurement.
- Ability to evaluate business opportunities, identify risks, and develop strategies that support profitable growth and long-term value creation.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, treasury management, banking relationships, and financial governance.
- Ability to translate complex financial and operational data into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.
- Demonstrated success leading, developing, and building high-performing teams.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills with the ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Experience leveraging ERP systems, business intelligence tools, and data analytics to support business decision-making.
