We are seeking a Chief Engineer to provide technical leadership in support of U.S. Navy engineering and lifecycle support programs. The position will serve as a senior technical lead, working with government stakeholders, program management, and engineering teams to support operational requirements, systems engineering, integration, and overall technical execution.

The Chief Engineer will provide technical directions, help resolve complex engineering issues, and ensure engineering activities support program objectives and mission needs. The role requires a strong understanding of naval operations, systems engineering, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary technical efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for assigned engineering activities.
  • Serve as a senior technical point of contact for government and program stakeholders.
  • Support systems engineering, requirements development, integration, and lifecycle activities.
  • Provide technical guidance on naval operational requirements and mission needs.

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced technical degree.

  • Relevant professional certifications.


Clearance Requirements

Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL). In order to qualify for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout their employment. The pay range for this role is:

210,000 - 250,000 USD per year (San Diego, CA (HDG))
