Northwest Permanente, P.C. is seeking a Board-Certified Medical Physicist to serve as Chief of Physics for our expanding Radiation Oncology program. This leadership role oversees all clinical physics operations within a collaborative, high-performing multidisciplinary team. This is a unique opportunity for a visionary leader to shape the future of cancer care within one of the nation’s largest integrated health systems.
About the Program:• 9 Radiation Oncologists, 5 Physicists, 7 Dosimetrists, 19 Therapists• 4 Varian TrueBeam linacs (HDMLC & Millennium, 6DOF couches, ExacTrac Dynamic, Surface systems)• ARIA/Eclipse, Brainlab Elements• Active SRS/SBRT and HDR brachytherapy programs• Ongoing expansion: 5th linac, orthovoltage (Xstrahl), second CT simulator
Key Responsibilities:• Lead and oversee all clinical physics activities and QA/QC programs• Supervise physics staff and support dosimetry and treatment planning• Provide clinical expertise in SRS/SBRT, VMAT, IGRT, IMRT, and HDR• Guide equipment selection, commissioning, and maintenance• Drive strategic planning and technology implementation both in the NW and national Kaiser system

The annual salary for this position is $235,700 - $267,800 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, NWP offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
