What You'll Do:

  • Work with other chemists and stakeholders to design and optimize new agricultural formulations
  • Knowledge of agricultural formulations, uses, test requirements, and new technologies
  • Conduct laboratory experiments and tests to evaluate chemical properties, product performance, and formulation stability
  • Reliably record and document experimental data
  • Report experimental results and summarize progress in group discussions and project updates
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members to accomplish goals in a team environment
  • Develop and optimize in-house analytical methods based on the company's needs
  • Help newly developed products move through the regulatory process
  • Routine laboratory analyses including pH, density, viscosity, emulsion property work, and chemical analysis including HPLC, GC, FTIR instrumentation methods
  • Maintain a clean work area including proper cleaning of glassware and laboratory equipment
  • Work with agricultural products including pesticides, adjuvants, and fertilizers
  • Maintain exemplary laboratories in terms of safety and compliance and follow all personal protective equipment requirements
  • Act as a leader and example for the company's Behavioral Standards, which focus on Safety, Integrity, Inclusion, Performance, Community, and Innovation


What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field required
  • 3+ years of experience working in a laboratory, agricultural emphasis preferred
  • Attention to detail, with good problem solving, organization, and decision making skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Strong work ethics are a must


Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this role, in Greeley CO , is between $87,000 - $113,000. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

We provide an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance and well as disability coverage for positions working more than 30 hours per week. In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
