Chemical Process Engineer opportunity in
Oak Ridge, TN at the
Y-12 National Security Complex.
Description:The Chemical Process Engineer will support the Mechanical Project Design group.
- Chemical engineering project support includes participation in designs ranging from scope definition, feasibility and conceptual studies, and preliminary/detailed designs.
- Tasks include flowsheet development (block diagrams, process flow diagrams, and P&IDs), analyses and calculations, reports/studies and Process Descriptions preparation.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 10 - 20+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in process design of complex nuclear or chemical facilities
Other Job Requirements: - United States Citizenship
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DOE Q Security Clearance. Active Q preferred.
