In this role, you will lead a team of customs brokerage professionals responsible for managing import shipments end-to-end, ensuring compliance with US Customs regulations, and delivering a strong client experience. You will act as a subject matter expert, overseeing daily operations, monitoring KPIs, and driving team performance while maintaining a hands-on approach during peak periods. Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of customs brokerage professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational performance
- Oversee the end-to-end import customs brokerage process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution
- Monitor and drive performance against KPIs, using data and reporting tools to guide decisions and improve outputs
- Ensure compliance with US Customs regulations, partner government agencies (PGA), and internal policies
- Manage client relationships, ensuring strong service delivery, issue resolution, and account retention
- Support financial accuracy including invoicing, accruals, and accounts receivable follow-up
- Drive continuous improvement using lean methodologies to optimize team efficiency and productivity.

- 3-6 years of experience in customs brokerage, international trade, or a related logistics environment
- 1-3 years of experience leading or supervising teams, with a hands-on leadership approach
- Strong understanding of US import processes, tariff changes, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Proven ability to manage operational performance, analyze KPIs, and drive continuous improvement
- Experience with customs entry processing and familiarity with PGA requirements
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills across all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel) and ability to work with operational systems (CargoWise is a plus).

Location: Baltimore, Maryland (On-site, 5 days per week)
Travel expectations: Minimal; occasional travel may be required on a one-off basis.
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 USD*
