Counsel - Charges role. This position is part of an innovative legal service platform that combines technology, data, and streamlined workflows to manage high-volume employment matters efficiently. Key Responsibilities- Defend Administrative Charges: Manage employment-related administrative agency charges (e.g., EEOC, state agencies) and attorney demand letters from intake through resolution.
- Draft Position Statements: Prepare clear, persuasive, and legally sound responses to agency charges.
- Respond to Agency Requests: Handle requests for information and documentation from administrative bodies.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular contact with clients to discuss case strategy, provide updates, and deliver outcomes.
- Settlement and Mediation: Represent clients in remote mediations and settlement negotiations.
Qualifications- Experience: Minimum of 6 years practicing employment law, with a focus on management-side representation.
- Skills: Exceptional legal writing, time management, and organizational skills.
- Licensure: Active bar license in the state of residence.
- Work Style: Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
