Full Job Description
Position Summary

Under the direction of the Provider, Practice Manager/Supervisor and/or Service Line Director coordinates general office activities and performs direct clinical care in a courteous, caring, and respectful manner. Is the point person for questions or concerns as it relates to patient intake, testing, ordering, medical supplies and other clinical responsibilities. In this role, the Charge Nurse assumes responsibility for nursing care and outcomes for patients utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary care team.Ability to create, maintain and support a high functioning team; establish and foster cooperative working relationships with staff and management; and function effectively as part of that team. Demonstrates behavior that is courteous, caring, respectful, and compassionate at all times. Demonstrates ability to listen and respond in a non-judgmental manner, with clear expectations. Education

Completion of formal coursework that is equivalent to a minimum of an associate's degree in nursing. Current and unrestricted New Jersey RN license. Current American Heart Association BLS certification required. Specialty specific certification a plus.

Schedule

I am looking for 1 night closing shift 12-8pm, 1 Saturday and/or Sunday 8am-2pm a month and openings 7:30am or 8am weekdays Monday-Friday

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred.

Skills
* Medical terminology, computer and keyboard skills required. (Microsoft Office--Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficiency in the use of an EMR preferred.
* Proven ability to manage a changing work environment as a result of changing patient needs, including working with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes.
* Must possess strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills to effectively interact with patients, family members, providers, visitors, and co-workers at all levels of the organization
