Charge Nurse (RN)
Full-Time | $45-48/hr
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm & Friday 8am-12pm
Location: Athens, GA 30606
The OpportunityIn this hands-on, patient-facing role, you'll coordinate and deliver care across the surgical continuum. You'll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe workflows, positive patient outcomes, and adherence to evidence-based standards.
What You'll Do- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes.
- Assist with daily clinical workflow coordination and staffing coverage.
- Serve as a clinical resource for nursing and support staff.
- Support compliance, quality assurance, and patient safety initiatives.
- Supervise support staff and ensure adherence to clinical protocols
- Participate in staff meetings and continuing education activities.
- Conduct patient assessments, monitor responses to treatment, document findings, and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team.
- Provide nursing support throughout pre-operative, procedural, and recovery phases of care.
- Uphold facility standards, ethics, and evidence-based procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) & Active RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Previous Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and/or Pain Management experience preferred.
- EHR experience (Athena) preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- CPAN certification preferred
Skills & Physical Requirements:- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and push up to 300 lbs
- Clear vision, depth perception, and ability to perform fine motor tasks
