Responsibilities:

$17,500 Sign On Bonus - Day Shift

The ICU Charge RN provides clinical and operational leadership for the ICUduring assigned shifts. Working in partnership with the Nursing Director, RN Manager, and Assistant Manager, this role oversees patient flow, care quality, patient safety, and staff coordination to ensure efficient, patient-centered emergency care. The Charge RN maintains a strong unit presence, supports team performance, and may provide direct patient care as needed.

  • Supervise clinical operations and patient flow to ensure safe, timely, and effective care.
  • Support staff performance, accountability, and adherence to standards of practice.
  • Promote exceptional patient experiences and a safe, high-quality care environment.
  • Provide real-time problem solving, communication, and leadership across the unit.
  • Deliver direct patient care when needed to support department operations.


Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum One year of nursing experience required

Licensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License or Graduate Nurse License required

Education: Minimum ADN preparation with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire
