Full Job Description
Channel Partner Manager - Florida

Home-based in Central Florida • Regular travel across the Fort Myers-Miami-Tampa-Orlando corridor • Full-time
The Role

The Channel Partner Manager (CPM) owns the full partner lifecycle in Florida: finding the right local contractors, pitching them on the program, getting them signed and onboarded, and managing the relationship so both the partner and Aquaria win. You are the face of Aquaria to our Florida partners - part salesperson, part relationship manager, part field operator. You'll split your time between prospecting and closing new partners and making sure existing partners are set up, trained, certified, and producing.

This is a field-based role built around a home base in Central Florida (Orlando / I-4 corridor). From there, you'll cover the state's major metro clusters - but the initial go-to-market priority is South Florida and the Naples/Fort Myers corridor, one of the highest concentrations of wealth in the country, followed by the Tampa Bay area and then the Central Florida home market. Orlando and Tampa are reachable as day trips; South Florida and Southwest Florida are typically run as multi-day swings. You'll be on the road for partner pitches, site walkthroughs, in-person training, and overseeing early installations.
Your Territory

You'll be building Aquaria's partner base across Florida in priority order:
• South & Southwest Florida (top priority) - Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Naples, and Fort Myers, spanning Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Collier, and Lee counties. This is the first market you'll build out, given its concentration of high-value homeowners (about 3.5-4 hours from Orlando; typically run as multi-day trips).
• Tampa Bay - Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and the surrounding Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco county markets (about 1-1.5 hours from Orlando; day trips).
• Central Florida (home base) - Orlando, Kissimmee, Lakeland, and the surrounding Orange, Seminole, Osceola, and Polk county markets. You'll live here and work this market opportunistically alongside the South Florida push.

A valid driver's license and willingness to be on the road regularly - including multi-day travel to South and Southwest Florida - is required.
What You'll Do

Recruit & pitch new partners
• Identify high-quality contractor prospects using Google Maps, Yelp, trade networks, referrals, and cold outreach to top-reviewed HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical businesses across your Florida territory.
• Leverage Aquaria's stack of online research and prospecting services to source, screen, and prioritize the right partners in each target market.
• Vet prospects against our ideal partner profile and run in-person field assessments of their operation.
• Deliver the partner pitch - introduce Aquaria, demo the product, explain the model and the economics, and address concerns (especially around sharing their customer base).
• Run site walkthroughs to identify the show site location and move prospects into onboarding.

Onboard & certify
• Manage onboarding paperwork - partnership agreement, NDA, data-sharing terms - and collect a complete partner staff directory (service, site visits, installation, accounting).
• Coordinate delivery of the Hydropack unit to the partner's facility and confirm they can receive and store it.
• Oversee show site deployment: concrete pad, electrical run, install, and commissioning, working alongside Aquaria's ops and technical teams.
• Deliver in-person site visit training and manage the phased install certification - remote oversight of the concrete pour, then on-site for the partner's first 2-3 installs before they're cleared to work independently.
• Develop a complete integration plan for each partner, documenting precisely how Aquaria and the partner's operations will connect end to end - their CRM platform, service-call handling, inbound phone and dispatch systems, and scheduling workflows.
• Map each partner's systems and workflows to Aquaria's processes so lead handoff, service escalation, and reporting run cleanly from day one.

Manage the relationship
• Serve as the partner's primary point of contact and coordinate the service escalation path (partner handles phone diagnosis and their own techs; escalations route to Aquaria).
• Work with marketing to activate the partner's customer base through approved co-branded outreach, and keep partners informed with dashboard visibility into pipeline and revenue.
• Keep partners engaged, producing, and growing over the life of the relationship.
Who You'll Be Recruiting

Your ideal partners are established, reputable HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical contractors - typically companies with 10+ years in business, 300-500+ online reviews at 4.5 stars or higher, a brick-and-mortar location with curb appeal, branded trucks and uniformed techs, and a loyal customer base. Critically, these are businesses with strong customer service, technical, and installation teams but little or no dedicated sales function of their own - which is exactly the gap the Aquaria partnership fills. You'll be building relationships with owner-operators and their teams and helping them see Aquaria as a natural addition to what they already do.

Requirements
What We're Looking For

Must-haves
• Lives in or is willing to relocate to Central Florida (Orlando area), with the flexibility to travel regularly to Tampa and South Florida.
• Proven B2B sales, channel, or partnerships experience - you can prospect, pitch, and close.
• Strong relationship-management skills; comfortable being the face of a company to outside businesses.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Florida, including overnight trips (valid driver's license required).
• Comfort in the field - job sites, contractor shops, equipment - not just behind a desk.
• Enough technical fluency to speak credibly about installation, electrical, and plumbing requirements and to coordinate installs (you won't perform them, but you'll oversee them).
• Self-directed and organized - able to manage a pipeline of prospects and a portfolio of active partners at once across a multi-metro territory.

Nice-to-haves
• Background in or selling to the trades - plumbing, HVAC, water treatment, electrical, or construction - especially in the Florida market.
• Experience standing up or managing a channel/dealer/franchise program.
• Familiarity with contractor CRM systems (e.g., ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro) and marketing/CRM tools.
• Interest in water technology, sustainability, or off-grid/resilience products.

Benefits
Why Join Aquaria
• Get in early on a category-defining water technology at a pivotal growth stage - and be the first person to build Aquaria's presence in Florida.
• Own a role with real scope and autonomy - you build and manage your own book of partners across an entire state.
• A model that's genuinely good for everyone: partners earn, customers get water independence, and communities gain resilience.
• Field-based flexibility with the variety of real field work and travel.
