We are looking for a Channel Intelligence Manager to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team.
The Channel Intelligence Manager is responsible for building and leading HNI's understanding of the competitive landscape and channel dynamics. This role serves as the central hub for competitor intelligence, market feedback, and dealer insights-translating information into actionable strategies that strengthen the business' position in the market. By connecting qualitative feedback with structured insights, this role enables more informed go-to-market decisions and enhances overall competitiveness across channels.
What You Will Do: - Own and manage a centralized competitor and channel intelligence repository, ensuring insights are organized, accessible, and actionable across the business.
- Gather and synthesize qualitative feedback from dealers, partners, and the field, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities to improve competitiveness.
- Translate market, dealer, and competitor insights into clear recommendations that inform go-to-market strategies and business decisions.
- Support the development of competitive go-to-market approaches, ensuring the business is positioned effectively against key competitors across channels and segments.
- Monitor and analyze competitor activity, including product positioning, pricing trends, programs, and channel strategies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure intelligence is embedded into sales, marketing, and product strategies.
- Develop insight summaries, reports, and tools that enable teams to quickly understand competitive dynamics and respond effectively.
- Identify gaps in the market and opportunities to differentiate HNI's offering and strengthen channel performance.
- Continuously evolve intelligence processes to improve speed, accuracy, and impact of insights delivered to the business.
What You Have: - Business Administration or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience is required; 5 or more years of experience preferred.
