Full Job Description
This position reports to:
VP - Service Sales

ABB's Motion Service (MOSE) division is hiring a Channel Development Manager responsible for growth of service business related to standard products from ABB's 'Motion Drive Products' (MODP) division through the existing HVAC and Water & Wastewater channel partner network within the United States.

The position will work closely with MODP Regional Sales Managers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, support business planning, remove barriers to execution, and drive adoption of service program and service offering. The Channel Development Manager will function as the main touch point between MODP and MOSE, ensuring alignment across the divisions.

In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid new Berlin, WI.

Your role and responsibilities:
  • Drive growth of ABB's HVAC and Water & Wastewater service business through the existing channel partner network in partnership with MODP.
  • Develop and execute channel growth strategies to increase sales, profitability, market share, and lifecycle service adoption.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between MODP and MOSE, fostering strong relationships with channel partners, Regional Sales Managers, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and performance discussions to align objectives, drive accountability, and improve partner performance.
  • Enable channel success by providing commercial support, service expertise, training resources, and customer issue resolution.
  • Leverage market analysis, CRM, and business intelligence tools to identify opportunities, improve channel effectiveness, and support forecasting and strategic planning.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Sales, Service, Training, TPM, Portfolio Management, and Operations while providing market feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.

• Experience supporting service programs, aftermarket businesses, or lifecycle management initiatives.
• Familiarity with ABB products, systems, and commercial processes.
