Full Job Description
Change Management Senior Specialist, 1 Presidents Choice Circle Brampton, ON

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Change Management Senior Specialist to join our dynamic Technology team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the execution and continuous improvement of our IT Change Management processes, ensuring that changes to our critical IT systems and services are introduced efficiently, effectively, and with minimal disruption to our vast operational network.

This role requires strong leadership through influence, partnering with senior technology and business leaders to balance delivery speed, operational stability, compliance requirements, and risk management across a large-scale enterprise environment.

You will play a key role in fostering a culture of controlled change, working closely with various IT and business stakeholders to maintain the stability, reliability, and security of our technology environment. If you are passionate about process excellence, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, large-scale enterprise, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:
  • Lead and continuously improve the enterprise IT Change Management process, ensuring effective governance, risk management, compliance, and adherence to organizational standards and best practices.
  • Assess and challenge proposed technology changes by evaluating technical and business risks, identifying dependencies and potential impacts, and providing risk-based recommendations to support informed decision-making.
  • Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) activities and partner with technology and business stakeholders to ensure implementation readiness, risk mitigation, and successful execution of planned changes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, influencing stakeholders, providing guidance on change management practices, and constructively challenging assumptions to improve outcomes and reduce risk.
  • Drive continuous improvement through analysis of change metrics, incidents, and audit findings, while enhancing processes, controls, reporting, governance effectiveness, and audit readiness.

What you Bring:
• 5+ years of experience in IT Service Management, IT Operations, IT Governance, Change Management, or a related discipline, supported by a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL Change Management/Change Enablement practices, with experience facilitating Change Advisory Boards (CABs), supporting enterprise governance processes, and working within large, complex technology environments.
• Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently assess complex technical and business risks, identify dependencies, challenge assumptions, and make sound risk-based recommendations.
• Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and build credibility with senior technology and business stakeholders without direct authority, leveraging strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-management skills to drive alignment and decision-making.
• Experience leveraging ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow), supporting audit and compliance requirements, and driving continuous improvement through metrics, reporting, automation, and modern delivery practices including Agile, DevOps, cloud technologies, and release management.
