Full Job Description
The Change Delivery Business Analyst leads and supports business and solution requirements activities for initiatives of varying complexity. Partnering closely with business stakeholders, project teams, technology delivery teams, testing teams, and project managers, this role translates business needs into clear, actionable requirements and ensures proposed solutions align with strategic, operational, and project objectives. The analyst applies appropriate requirements management techniques based on initiative complexity, exercises sound judgment in eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating requirements, and serves as a trusted partner in driving effective solution delivery while promoting requirements management best practices and adherence to enterprise standards. Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Plan, facilitate, and lead requirements elicitation activities for initiatives, engaging diverse stakeholder groups to define business needs, and the solution to satisfy the business needs. 2. Determine and apply the most appropriate elicitation techniques-including interviews, workshops, process mapping, surveys, document analysis, and facilitated sessions-based on project objectives, stakeholder dynamics, and solution complexity. 3. Ensure appropriate stakeholder engagement, and alignment throughout the requirements management lifecycle to support effective decision-making, requirement quality, risk management, and successful solution delivery. 4. Serve as the primary requirements lead for assigned initiatives, providing guidance to project teams and stakeholders on requirements management approaches, documentation standards, and best practices. 5. Maintain requirements documentation and artifacts in approved work management tools in accordance with the Technology Delivery Lifecycle (TDLC). 6. Perform impact assessments for proposed changes to existing applications, processes, and systems in alignment with enterprise standards. 7. Evaluate and monitor risks, issues, and dependencies; assess their significance, business impact, and likelihood of affecting project objectives; and recommend appropriate escalation or mitigation actions to senior team members. 8. Evaluate data, system, and integration issues; assess root causes, business impacts, and solution considerations; and coordinate with technology and support teams to facilitate timely resolution and escalation of significant concerns. 9. Perform analysis of current-state business processes, systems, and data flows; provides guidance for developing future-state process flows or documentation. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with minimum 4 years' experience as a business analyst, project support, or related role/experience. 2. Foundational experience supporting business and solution requirements documentation. 3. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage multiple priorities, and exercise sound judgment in escalating risks, issues, and decisions requiring additional guidance. 4. Ability to analyze business problems and clearly document findings. 5. Experience with Agile, Waterfall and Traditional-Iterative methodologies. 6. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to Visio or similar tools preferred. 7. Willingness to learn enterprise standards, delivery frameworks, and compliance requirements. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Banking or financial services experience. 2. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Visio.
